There are three types of listings: the Awards listing, overall Law Firms listings in different sections, and the search results listings.

The Awards' listing is based on the firm's position in the respective year awards—winner and outstanding.

The jurisdiction or geo listing (city, country, sub-region, and continent) listing criteria are, from top to bottom, Recommended Firm, active membership, total offices, total awards, total reviews, and then alphabetically.

Yes, The Lawyers Global® ensures that all currently listed law firms are trustworthy. Before accepting a law firm in our system, we perform a background check before approving and including the law firm's listing to ensure that the firm meets our minimum requirements.

Our system and team routinely verify each law firm, including their website availability, security, and overall information, including the practice areas and other publicly available information. Suppose we detect any issue that we consider critical. In that case, we contact the law firm in question to request updated data, and ultimately, we may remove, without prior notice, that law firm.

Although we have a few cases of non-conformity, and if we receive any feedback from our visitors concerning a law firm's incorrect data, our team will perform the verification protocol, including contacting the law firm to clarify what was reported and found by us.

After filling in and submitting the form, the firm will receive your message directly in their chosen email. The badges can be used in several ways, and some law firms get creative with them.

The primary usage is to place it on your website and, eventually, link to your firm profile page at The Lawyers Global®. A few firms printed the high-resolution badge and put it inside a glass frame in their office. Many use the smaller ones in their emails, etc. The badges are produced and sent in different resolutions for web/electronic and print usage.

We advise our clients to publish them on their social media platforms, like LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram, etc., with a link to your firm's profile page at The Lawyers Global® website.

The answer is yes. When you receive your certificates, be they the Awards Certificate or the Membership Certificate, they are produced and delivered to you in color and high resolution that are print-ready.

Since 2022, we have no longer shipped the printed certificates for ecological reasons and because several firms had issues with their local mail companies and did not receive them.

The current certificates are digitally signed using our National Trust Certifying Authority, and when the certificate .pdf is open, you will see the "Valid Signatures" notice. These certificates can be printed and even exported as an image to be published on the firm's website.

Any law firm can apply to become a The Lawyers Global® member, for which the firm has to provide a set of details that will allow us to validate the information to be approved. After selecting the plan, you'll be redirected to the subscription form. Fill in all, at least all the required fields, and submit the form. During the membership cycle, we only allow upgrades to the existing plans. To downgrade a membership plan, you must wait until the end of your membership cycle and then renew for a membership plan different from the one you had before.

When you upgrade from one membership plan to another, the cost is calculated based on the Pro Rata Basis. We'll determine the daily rate, calculate the consumed amount, adjust the membership plan cost, and finally set the price for the upgrade. We will email you 15 (fifteen) days before the expiry date and another within 5 (five) days to ask if you wish to renew your current membership plan, change your membership, and send you the renewal invoice. Please note that the renewal prices are lower than the initial subscription so you will pay less.

If we do not receive your reply and the intent to renew your membership, your law firm will be removed from our listings and lose all its accolades and statistical data.

• PayPal™ payments are not available in a few countries, yet there are ways that our clients overcome this issue, including payment made with a card from a bank issued in a different country;
• The Bank Wire Transfers have two categories for SEPA and Non-SEPA countries. The transaction fees vary between the two.
• We do not accept direct Credit Card payments;

If you fail to fulfill the payment due dates, our system will automatically suspend your law firm, and depending on each case, we might charge you an additional fee.
