Worldwide Law Firms and Lawyers are facing an overwhelming increase in contacts by clients concerning their needs on a broad range of areas and issues. Online searches for law firms in jurisdictions abroad have dramatically increased.
From credit and financial matters, landlord and tenant matters, employment issues, domestic violence, child custody, contract issues, medical and insurance issues, business disputes, including some client's international business issues and concerns, are requiring an additional effort from firms.
In times of uncertainty, due to the global effects that the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is causing at all levels, law firms and lawyers also have to face the uncertainty of laws that are being changed or adapted in some countries. Many countries are declaring emergency states, which may affect constitutional rights and suspension of some legal rights.
At the same time, laws are being adapted to allow specific responses that arise from the urgency to fight and contain the outbreak of the disease.
With the unprecedented global mobility constraints, businesses need to rely upon lawyers and law firms that operate in distant jurisdictions to take care of their legal matters.
Many people, and especially businesses, already have their law firms abroad, yet the vast majority are seeking firms online to handle their legal matters and concerns. We have been witnessing this massive increase in searches on our platform.
Take action
Our advice for all law firms listed on our platform is to search for their firm on our platform and review the data, especially contacts and practice areas information. Accurate information may be the difference between acquiring or not a new client.
For law firms not listed in our platform, we have reopened the RECCOMENDED FIRM program, starting today, March 21st, 2020.
The RECOMMENDED LAW FIRM reopens to help firms
The RECOMMENDED LAW FIRM program allows eligible firms to become listed within 24h and appear in the search results, and directories, at several levels, including being listed by City, Country, Sub-Region, Continent, and searches, including Practice Areas search.
In any of the above cases, please use our contact form online to contact us. Due to the demand increase, we are replying, on average, in two to four hours, but stay assured that you will receive our reply in due time.
Information updates to existing awarded law firms' listings are FREE.
For new law firms that apply to the RECOMMENDED LAW FIRM program, we will offer an exclusive 10% discount, and we will donate $25 USD, for each paid invoice, to the World Health Organization (WHO) COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and send the firm proof of this donation.
